Heather Cummings-Williams

Heather grew up in Middle Quarters, St. Elizabeth Jamaica where she started singing in church at
the age of six. She attended Santa Cruz Preparatory School, Hampton High School, Church
Teachers’ College and The University of The West Indies, Mona Campus.
While working in the Media Industry as a Radio Disc Jockey and Announcer, she started touring
with Black Uhuru in Europe. This opened the way for her to tour with several other artistes in the
Reggae Industry such as Maxi Priest, Shaggy, Luciano, Beres Hammond, Sizzla and Buju
Banton, to name a few.
Heather sang the hook on the title track for Shaggy’s album “Clothes Drop” and her
harmonies have graced many a hit song such as “Man with the handle” and the entire gospel album “Who
is this Man” by Sanchez, “Want you back” by Singing Melody, “Sweep Over My Soul” by
Luciano, as well as several popular soca hits by Byron Lee & The Dragonaires, “Good Buddy” by Fab
Five, several albums by Beres Hammond, Sly and Robbie “Friends” album, “Psalm 23” and
“Magic City” by Buju Banton, “Give it up” by Benjy Myaz…and the list goes on.
Heather’s musical journey and experience led to her recording numerous singles until she finally
fell in love with inspirational music after she recorded the cover hit single “I Hope You Dance”
on the Penthouse Record Label which has received lots of love from fans worldwide.
After recording original singles “ People Change” and “In the Wink of an Eye” she became
convinced that her niche was definitely inspirational.
Heather “The Vocal Whisperer” is passionate about being that voice to bring about change and
healing for the oppressed, dejected, broken and torn, through her music.
